frequently asked questions about tattoos (FAQ)

Everything you need to know before booking your tattoo session.

1. Does getting a tattoo hurt?

Yes, tattoos involve some level of pain, but it varies based on the body area and your pain tolerance. Areas like the ribs, neck, or inner arm are more sensitive, while the outer arm, shoulder, or thigh are generally more comfortable.

It’s also important to know that pain tends to build up over time. Most people feel relatively okay during the first couple of hours, but after 3–4 hours of continuous work, the area becomes more irritated and sensitive, and the discomfort may intensify. I always aim to make the session as smooth as possible — with breaks, a calm environment, and checking in with you regularly.
2. How much does a tattoo cost?

Tattoo prices depend on the size, detail, location, and hours of work. I offer fixed-rate sessions (half-day or full-day). After the consultation and project evaluation, you’ll receive a final price. To book a consultation just fill the booking form.
3. How can I book a tattoo session?

To book a tattoo, fill out the request form on the website or send a direct message on Instagram. We’ll schedule a consultation to discuss your idea. Once we agree on the concept and timeline, you’ll receive payment instructions to confirm your session.
4. How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

  • Get a full night’s sleep.
  • Eat a nutritious meal 1–2 hours before your appointment.
  • Drink water and avoid alcohol or coffee 24 hours prior.
  • Wear comfortable clothes with easy access to the tattoo area.
  • Avoid sunburn, cuts, or irritation in the area.
5. What should I avoid after getting a tattoo?

  • No swimming, saunas, or long showers for 10–14 days.
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds.
  • Do not pick or scratch the healing skin.
  • Wear loose clothing.
  • Avoid gym or heavy sweating for the first few days.
6. How long does a tattoo take to heal?

Initial healing takes about 7–10 days. Full skin regeneration can take 3–4 weeks. Peeling and itching are normal — follow your aftercare instructions and don’t rush the healing process.
7. Can I work out after getting a tattoo?

Avoid intense physical activity and sweating for at least 3–5 days. If the tattoo is in an area prone to friction (like ribs, arms, or thighs), wait until it feels less sensitive and no longer scabs.
8. Can I get a tattoo if I have allergies or medical conditions?

If you have allergies, chronic skin conditions, or take medication, consult your doctor first. I recommend bringing a doctor’s note if you have any medical concerns. I do not work with clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
9. Do tattoos fade over time?

Yes, all tattoos fade slightly with time. To maintain your tattoo’s brightness:
  • Use SPF 50+ on healed tattoos when exposed to the sun
  • Moisturize your skin regularly
  • Avoid tanning beds
10. Can I get a tattoo in summer or before vacation?

Yes, but you'll need to avoid sun, water, and friction during healing. If you plan to swim or tan, it's better to book your session after the trip. For best results, plan your tattoo at least 3–4 weeks before any vacation.
