Terms of use

This document contains important information about the terms and conditions of working with me as a tattoo artist. By booking a session or using my services, you agree to these terms, which define your rights, responsibilities, and limitations. Please read this document carefully to understand how I operate, the services I offer, and how interactions between me and my clients are managed.

Booking and scheduling

Deposits are non-refundable and required to secure your appointment date and time, as well as to compensate me for the design work before the session. The deposit will be applied toward the final cost of your tattoo. If you need to reschedule, please notify me at least three (3) days in advance. A valid reason for rescheduling is required; without one, you may forfeit your deposit.

You can reschedule your appointment up to two times. On the third reschedule, your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required. Deposits remain valid for up to six (6) months from the original appointment date. After this period, a new deposit will be required to book again.

Appointment day

Please bring a valid government-issued ID on the day of your appointment to confirm your identity. Failure to present a valid ID will result in the cancellation of your appointment and forfeiture of your deposit.

Hygiene and Sterilization Practices

I adhere to the highest hygiene and sterilization standards, exceeding state and industry requirements. Each workstation is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before and after every session to ensure a sterile environment.

All equipment is single-use and checked for expiration dates. Any item that comes into direct contact with the skin is safely disposed of after each session.

Sterile equipment is always unpacked in front of the client.

My workstation is organized and optimized for an efficient workflow.

A sterile setup with single-use supplies is prepared for each session.

Both the client and I sanitize all body areas subject to contact or exposure before beginning the tattoo process.

The workstation is positioned away from high-traffic areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.

All surfaces, including furnishings, floors, and walls, are washable and disinfected regularly.

Multiple disinfectants are available at my workstation for continuous sanitation.

Sterilization barriers cover all direct surfaces used in the tattooing process. These are disposed of after each session, and the surface is then re-sterilized for the next client.

Before the session, clients must sign a detailed consent form acknowledging all potential concerns and health-related clauses. I am always willing to accommodate specific client needs, especially if there are any health concerns.

Payment

I set my own pricing based on factors such as size, placement, complexity, and design details. I will provide you with a general price range before booking. Unless there are significant design changes or unforeseen circumstances, the final cost will not exceed the highest amount of the estimated range.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment date and time. Billing starts at the agreed appointment time, regardless of your arrival time. If you fail to arrive within a reasonable time frame or do not show up, your deposit will be automatically forfeited.

If you are considering significant design changes after booking, please inform me at least three (3) days in advance. Major changes may affect the estimated cost due to additional time required and could result in the forfeiture of your deposit and appointment.

Tattoo Risks

A tattoo is a permanent piece of art, and there is currently no method to completely remove it. While tattoos are widely accepted in many cultures and professions, they may not be welcomed everywhere. It's important to consider how your tattoo might affect you in professional or social settings.

Your tattoo will not be an exact replica of the drawing or stencil. Factors such as skin type, tone, and body shape naturally affect the final appearance.

There are potential risks associated with getting a tattoo, including complications, allergies, infections, and inflammation. Despite maintaining the highest hygiene and sterilization standards, there is always a possibility of an individual reaction. I strongly recommend consulting a doctor or dermatologist to assess any personal risks before booking your appointment.

I will provide detailed aftercare instructions, but it is your responsibility to follow them properly. If you have any concerns or questions during the healing process, feel free to reach out.

In rare cases, the skin may experience a "blowout" where the ink spreads under the skin, creating a blurred effect similar to ink on blotting paper. While this is harmless, it cannot always be prevented. If this is a concern, please consult a dermatologist for further advice.

It's important to research the tattoo aging process, potential skin reactions, and any other concerns before committing to a tattoo. While I am happy to provide information, I strongly encourage you to be fully informed before your appointment.

My Commitment

I ensure that my workstation is clean, organized, and properly sanitized before and after each session.

I strive to create a comfortable and professional environment for every client.

I provide a comprehensive consent form with written information and agreements to ensure full transparency.

Clients are fully informed about all potential risks involved in the tattoo process before proceeding.

A valid government-issued ID is required for every appointment.

Clients have the opportunity to disclose any relevant health concerns or conditions that may affect the tattooing process.

I encourage clients to ask any questions regarding materials, equipment, procedures, and safety protocols in case of an emergency.

At the end of the appointment, I provide detailed aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and long-term tattoo preservation.
